The Genie® Membrane Separators for portable ambient air monitors prevent liquid water from reaching portable gas analyzers, in turn preventing contamination and/or damage to sample system and alnalyzer components. Slugs of liquid water, particles, and mist of sub-micron size are removed from the sample as it flows through the membrane. The concentration of trace components present in the gas sample is not altered by filtering steps.
The Genie® Model 143 is an end of line filter that easily connects to the sample hose of portable gas analyzers.
