The original Genie® Model 102A is designed to remove 100% of entrained liquids and particulate from gas samples. The Genie® Supreme Series 100 models are also available, which offer an improved housing design for easy maintenance and the innovative Liquid Block Technology™ that prevents liquid from being forced across the membrane should sample line pressure conditions become upset.
This model provides protection against liquids for most analyzers when sample supply pressure is lower or the flow rate requirement is higher than the Genie® Model 101 or the Genie® Model 130 can accommodate. This model is recommended only when small quantities of liquid are continuously present and/or for protection against intermittent slugs of liquid.
Though the Genie® Model 102A is physically much larger than the other two abovementioned models, it has less internal volume than both.
Your specific application may also benefit from our specially designed G.U.T.S.™ Teflon® gasket installed in a Genie® Model 102A.
